How will I receive my video?

You will receive two digital copies of your video on USB.

The video will also be available to view and download online for six (6) months from time of final video delivery.

How can I get extra copies of the video?

We can help you copy the video onto extra USB drives at a further cost.

Are there breaks during filming?

Definitely. Our goal is for the interviewee to feel 100% comfortable, relaxed, and free to express themselves. We'll proceed at their pace to ensure they have a positive experience during the process.

When can I expect to receive my video?

(Up to 6 weeks) - We’ll begin the editing process and deliver a draft within 2 weeks of filming day.

Upon receipt of your feedback and changes, we’ll deliver the final video within 6 weeks.

Can I choose my own music?

Yes and no. Due to copyright and licenses, most popular songs cannot be used without explicit permission (and payment) from the song writer / artist / record company etc.
Despite this, we have access to a large suite of approved music that covers every genre. This will be shared with you and the interviewee to ensure that the right music accompanies your video.

Why wouldn’t I just do this myself?

We get it, you could capture your loved one with your mobile phone or DSLR camera and your journey with us stops here.

By engaging our services, you have the confidence in knowing that you will be receiving a professionally finished video that uses the latest cameras, lighting and audio equipment to preserve your loved ones story in the highest of quality for years to come. Our interviewers have conducted 1000’s of hours of interviews with a diverse range of people and are consummate professionals in making the interviewee feel at ease whilst getting the best responses from them.

We’ve also discovered that many interviewees are more reserved when their own family ask personal questions. They often hold back their honest thoughts and feelings.
Engaging an impartial party, interviewees tend to lower their guard as they don’t feel like they are going to be judged or are repeating the story for the 100th time.

Can extra family members be there on filming day?

We’ve found having extra people can alter the way an interviewee responds to the questions. So in most cases, we recommend no other people in the room during filming.

However, if preferred or required, we can accommodate one representative that the interviewee is extremely comfortable with.

That person will be asked to be out of sight of the interviewee during the filming.

I have a loved one who doesn’t have much time left. Are you able to record them ASAP?

We will do our best to work with you and our current bookings to juggle things around to accommodate these situations.
Upon our initial consultation with you, we will be transparent and open with what can be achieved.

When do I pay?

We require a 50% deposit at the time of your booking confirmation.

The remaining balance upon delivery of the finished project.

What forms of payment do you accept?

EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) is preferred.

Credit Card payments can be arranged but will incur a transaction fee.
